Vistabella Golf

Situated slightly inland from the city of Torrevieja and not far from the picturesque Lake Pedrera, Vistabella Golf covers an area of more than 34 hectares and has been thoughtfully designed to blend into the natural countryside with the three majestic pine trees that are part of the Vistabella Golf logo visible from much of the course. Designed by former European tour player Manuel Piñero, the course is 6,000 metres long with a par of 73. It only has 11 holes but has been configured so golfers can play a full 18 holes with different tee positions on the holes that are played twice.

Vistabella Golf Course

The first 7 holes of the course are the ones that are played twice with hole 1/12 a straight downhill play with the green surrounded by bunkers. Hole 2/13 incorporates a dog-leg right and large bunker to the front right of the green. The first par 5 is on hole 3/14 although the green is achievable in two shots with a good drive. A well struck shot on hole 4/15 can put you on the elevated green with this hole that has bunkers front and left. The elevated green on hole 5/16 is heavily guarded by bunkers front and left and with the slope of the fairway it's best to aim well left on your drive.

A lake runs down the first half of the fairway on hole 6/17 and the fairway tends to kick balls left to right. Although a par 5, a mighty drive can bring big hitters within reach of the green on hole 7/18. On days with no wind interference, the green on hole 8 can be reached with a long iron. Hole 9 is bunkered on the left of the green and there is a mound short right that can work to players advantage. Hole 10 offers birdie opportunities if played right but has some tricky bunkers to contend with. A highly elevated green and multitude of bunkers make for quite a challenge when playing hole 11 which has a dog-leg right fairway.
