Mesón Villa Salada
The Costa Blanca is home to some fantastic attractions and when it comes to a night of wining and dining accompanied by song and dance, it doesn't get much better than Mesón Villa Salada. Located on the outskirts of Torrevieja and bordering the picturesque salt lake, the villa boasts a combination of horse riding school and superb restaurant where dazzling flamenco dancing and mesmerising Andalusian horse shows entertain the crowds.
Events & Celebrations
With the restaurant's indoor dining areas, outdoor terraces and huge marquee, Mesón Villa Salada boasts a capacity for over 700 guests making it an ideal choice for all sorts of special occasions, group get together's and corporate events. Having the equestrian centre within the grounds makes it possible to combine activities to suit groups of all ages such as dinner accompanied by a flamenco show or lunch and a horse trek around the salt lake. For the younger children there are cute Shetland ponies that will take them on a half hour trek.
Visitors to Mesón Villa Salada can choose to just stop in for a drink, enjoy a delicious meal and wine from the restaurants own bodega, relax on the terraces, take a walk around the gardens or visit the near by lake. However, it is the choice of diner & show combinations that really brings in the crowds and, depending on the time of year, the villa holds fantastic celebrations for occasions such as Easter and Christmas. The restaurant is open all year round, Monday to Sunday from 11am to 11pm although the dinner & shows are only on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Flamenco & Dressage Shows
Dinner & flamenco shows are held every Friday and Saturday evening although the equestrian shows are only during the warmer months from May until September. Visitors have various meal choices including a fantastic buffet, children's meals, standard menu & show, VIP menu & show or show only. Dramatic lighting sets the stage in the main arena where the beautiful Andalusian horses perform intricate dressage alongside colourful flamenco dancers to create the biggest and most stunning flamenco and horse show on the Costa Blanca.
Within Mesón Villa Salada is a large and impeccably run equestrian centre that offers temporary and annual livery in their 42 stalls. There is also a well equipped riding school with arenas for exercise, lunging, dressage and jumping aimed at children aged between 7 and 11. Adults and larger children can enjoy 1 hour hacks around the salt lake and nature reserve on the school horses and 30 minute hacks on Shetland ponies are available for the young ones.
