Levante Beach

The Costa Blanca's beaches all have their own unique appeal, some for their unspoiled beauty and tranquillity, and others such as Benidorm's popular Levante Beach for its size and abundance of fun activities and excellent facilities. The city receives a staggering amount of visitors each year, and aside from great value package holidays, hundreds of bars and restaurants offering cheap food and drink, and legendary nightlife, Benidorm's beaches are one of its main attractions and certainly don't disappoint.

Levante Beach Facilities

Forming a long sweeping bay of golden sand, Levante Beach enjoys a prime position in the heart of the city, and realising just how important the beach is to the local economy, the city council have dedicated much time and money in keeping both Levante Beach and neighbouring Poniente Beach in pristine condition with every facility holidaymakers could wish for.

Backed by the busiest promenade on the Costa Blanca, Levante Beach has numerous access points for wheelchairs with wooden boardwalks leading onto the beach, first aid stations, lifeguards, showers, ablutions, beach sports facilities, floating playgrounds, sun parasols and no less than 5,000 sun loungers during peak season! The council really have thought of everything, with a well stocked ‘beach library' and even handy colourful signs along the length of the beach for beach goers to use as reference points to avoid children and wayward husbands getting lost 🙂

Surrounding Facilities

At the southern end of the beach promenade, where it meets the Old Town there is a large, modern tourist information bureau and the promenade itself offers every sort of refreshment with an abundance of cafes, ice cream parlours, takeaways, snack stands, bars and restaurants. Just past the headland, where superb views can be enjoyed from the Balcón del Mediterráneo is Benidorm's lively marina, offering loads of thrilling water sports, activities, boat trips and adventure tours. This is also where Poniente Beach starts which is almost identical to Levante, only slightly longer and less busy due to it's location in a residential area.

Les Deveses Beach

The bustling town of Dénia lies in the far north of the Costa Blanca and is a popular holiday destination offering superb attractions such as Les Deveses Beach and Montgó Natural Park.
