Aquopolis Water Park

A favourite attraction to enjoy during a Spanish summer holiday is a visit to a water park, and the Costa Blanca has several including the thrilling Aquopolis Water Park. Situated in the coastal city of Torrevieja and set in a large area of parkland and lush gardens, Aquopolis boasts a number of adrenaline inducing rides, rivers, pools, sunbathing areas and tasty eateries. Visitors arriving by car will have no problem finding a spot in the car park which holds up to 1,500 vehicles; alternately a couple of local city buses stop close to the park.

Pools & Beaches

Amazonia River – A gentle current carries swimmers or those using floats around the curves and straights of this peaceful 180 metre river that winds its way through the park.

Wave Beach – One of the most popular attractions of the park, Wave Beach offers both swimming and sunbathing as well as a selection of different wave heights for boogy boarding.

Cascada – Waterfalls, pools, rocks, caves and tropical plants make up this area of the park, making for a peaceful setting to enjoy a cooling dip with friends and family.

Polinesia – Shaped like an island with pools and fountains, open air spas and underwater Jacuzzi jets this is an excellent area to relax and enjoy a water massage.

Tirolina – Crossing one of the Aquopolis Water Park lagoons, Tirolina is an exciting yet not too fast zip-line making it possible for most age groups to ride.

Charmed Lake – A pretty and colourful water wonderland with dragons and castles, moats and bridges, Wendy houses, slides and fountains to keep the younger children happy all day.

Mini Park – Another attraction to keep the young ones active with a main water castle surrounded by a water playground boasting over 50 different water gadgets and features.

Slides & Rides

Speed – One of the park's fastest slides where individuals experience near weightlessness as they plummet down the length of the slide reaching speeds of up to 45 km/h in seconds.

Kamikaze – Situated next to Speed, this slide is similar although with more bumps along the way and the fastest in Aquopolis Water Park at 50 km/h.

Boomerang – So named because of its ‘U' shape which allows riders on tubes to hurtle down one side and up the other in a pendulum motion until you eventually come to a stop.

Rapids – Taking up a picturesque area of Aquopolis Water Park, this is the widest slide where rafters in double tubes descend a series of rapids, twists and turns.

Speed Race – This is a group favourite consisting of 4 slides side by side that make their way downhill over humps at a good pace, allowing for friends and family to race each other.

Black Hole – Enter the unknown on this thrilling slide totally enclosed so riders are submerged in deepest darkness, never knowing when the next dip or bend is coming up.
