Mountain Bike Holidays

The stunning rugged interior of the Costa Blanca provides the perfect setting for thrilling mountain bike holidays. Much of the coastal and mountain areas of the Costa Blanca have been declared natural parks that are home to a huge number of nature and hiking trails where keen cyclists can enjoy the diverse terrain and spectacular scenery while keeping up their fitness levels or training for upcoming bike races and events.

Enjoying a wonderful setting in the charming village of Castell de Castells, two rustic villas make up the base camp for Mañana Mountain Adventures. Run by British couple Gary and Sarah Neal who both hold MBLA (Mountain Bike Leader Award) certificates and British REC (Rescue Emergency Care) certificates, and accompanied by mountain biking coach Rob Wilson, Mañana Mountain offer long weekend and full week mountain bike holidays.

Base Camp

Established since 2003, their excellent reputation has seen them featured in both Living Spain and What Mountain Bike magazines and their accommodation is listed in the Charming Small Hotels guidebook. Riders can expect comfortable en-suite guest rooms based on two persons sharing or single occupancy at an extra charge. The villas have sun terraces, bike storage and workshop facilities. After a day of riding guests can enjoy a refreshing drink in the bar and there are lounge and dining areas where meals are served.

Holiday Options

Riders have a choice of two mountain bike holidays that include transfers to and from Alicante Airport, accommodation, continental breakfast, nutritionally balanced packed lunches, tea & cake and lovely 3 course evening meals accompanied by the local wines of the region.
