Cabo Roig Beach
Located in the popular coastal resort area of Orihuela Costa, Cabo Roig Beach lies in a pleasant sandy bay sheltered by a headland that separates it from neighbouring La Zenia. The beach is not large and has quite a lot of steep stairs to climb but visitors are rewarded with golden sands, calm waters, good facilities and lovely views to the Mar Menor on a clear day. Located in front of the headland, its small marina is one of the most picturesque on the Costa Blanca and a pleasure to visit with a selection of cafes and restaurants to enjoy a meal and drink.
Cabo Roig Beach Facilities
The highlight for many is the beach hut bar which gets lively during the summer months and is a great place to socialise where you will find a good selection of soft and alcoholic drinks, colourful cocktails and a small snack menu. Next to the bar there are thatched sun parasols and sun loungers, beach volleyball nets and a children's play area. For a bit more excitement visitors can hire jet skis and in the marina area is FlyBoard White Coast where great fun can be had flying through the air and diving in and out the water on this crazy new contraption.
Aside from the beach hut bar, visitors have a further choice of restaurants close to Cabo Roig Beach including the popular Restaurante La Bahia offering wonderful views over the bay and marina. One of the biggest attractions in the area is the famous Cabo Roig Strip that runs parallel to the N-332 dual carriageway and boasts a fantastic selection of lively bars, cafes and restaurants, including the ever popular Bushwacka Bar that gets packed during peak season and features live music and regular theme parties. For a bit of adult fun and frolics there are a selection of ‘show girl' clubs opposite the strip with some rather interesting acts and prices!
